What's Involved
Suzuki students attend weekly private lessons as well as regularly scheduled group classes with other students at their performance level. The group classes are particularly beneficial as they promote ensemble playing, repertoire review, ear-training, singing and rhythm activities, music reading and other games. These classes are highly motivational for students and parents. Monthly Recitals and Play-throughs are presented for family and friends.
Getting Started
Future LTEA families must complete an application and observation process. All prospective parent/student teams must observe 4 private or group lessons of LTEA teachers. These can be arranged via phone (859-219-8611) or email (Mary Diggins, Msdlex@aol.com, or Meg Saunders, megvln@aol.com).
Tuition is reasonably priced at $390/semester for 15 private and 12 group lessons. A yearly registration fee of $105 is assessed at the beginning of your course of study. Opportunities for recital performances are included in this fee.
